Our Generation

The struggle is real. It is time out for playing. This Christian walk is not a joke... nothing to play with! God is coming back real soon. I am really concerned about this generation of youth now-a-days. Sheesh! It seems as if they are raising themselves and parents don't give a care about them or about true parenting. Now, if you do not fit this mold, you know I am not talking to you. (Please disregard this message). I am just saying, I work at a residential facility for youth who have behavior problems, and I just have to say, the effect of parenting (or lack thereof) is very prevalent. The fact that you have a nine year old who has been through far more worse things than you have, is crazy! It is also sad.. the parenting in America focuses on HOW TO BE THE PERFECT PARENT, instead of creating or raising a near perfect child that would soon turn into an adult. The parents have totally rules out spanking, stating that it only causes the child to want to be violent. However, this is not apparently true, because I myself had a few licks back in the day, and I am okay.. better yet I am more than okay, I am still a virgin and waiting for my husband to be.. and I know he is waiting for God to send me to him (lol). I do not care what people may think, (IN YOUR LATE TWENTIES AND STILL A VIRGIN--OMG!) No, that does not break me. Why, Because I rather be a virgin with a pure body, waiting than to have over twenty different chromosomes, souls and spirits that I have to deal with on a daily basis.
